Description
Soft Gold Coolie Lampshade – Handmade in Devon
Our Soft Gold Coolie Lampshade is handcrafted in our Devon workshop using soft gold brushed cotton. The wide, shallow cone shape creates an elegant silhouette. Its soft, matt finish adds gentle texture to your interior.
The soft gold colour brings warmth to your room and complements cream fabrics, natural wood and earthy tones. Alternatively, pair it with deeper greens or blues for a richer colour scheme.
Whether styled on a table lamp, floor lamp or ceiling pendant, this coolie shade suits both contemporary and traditional interiors.
Soft Gold Coolie Shade Sizes Available
This brushed cotton coolie shade is available in diameters from 25cm to 60cm. Therefore, you can choose the ideal scale for your room and lamp base.
Smaller sizes work well on bedside and table lamps. Meanwhile, mid-sized options suit standard lamps. Larger diameters create greater visual presence on floor lamps or statement ceiling pendants.
The broad base and gentle slope allow light to spread through the wide lower opening.
Lining Options for Your Coolie Lampshade
You can personalise your Soft Gold Coolie Lampshade with a selection of interior finishes:
- White PVC – A bright, reflective interior
- Natural Cotton – A softer, diffused lighting effect
- Metallic Gold, Silver, Champagne or Copper – A decorative, reflective interior finish
Metallic linings are fully opaque. Therefore, light does not pass through the sides. Instead, it reflects internally and escapes through the shade’s openings. This creates a more focused and atmospheric lighting effect.
Your choice of bulb also affects the final tone. For example, warm white and cool white bulbs produce different lighting effects.
Suitable for Lamps or Ceiling Pendants
This Soft Gold Coolie Lampshade can be supplied for table lamps, floor lamps or ceiling pendants.
Please select lamp or pendant use above when ordering to ensure we provide the correct fitting. Its wide cone profile complements both lamp bases and suspended ceiling arrangements.
Bulb Fittings – B22 & E27 Compatible
Each shade includes a dual-purpose fitting compatible with:
- E27 (ES) lamp holders
- B22 (BC) lamp holders
This gives you flexibility when pairing your lampshade with a compatible lamp base or pendant fitting
