Our Retro Drum combines the simplicity of a drum lampshade with a more pronounced tapered shape. Unlike a straight-sided Drum, the top is narrower than the base, creating a stronger angle and a more characterful silhouette.
The shape also has a more noticeable taper than our French Drum. This makes the Retro Drum a great choice when you want the clean appearance of a drum shade but prefer something with more shape and presence.
Its balanced proportions make it suitable for table lamps, floor lamps and pendant lighting, allowing the same distinctive shape to be used throughout your home.
Tapered Drum Lampshades for Table & Floor Lamps
The wider base of a tapered drum lampshade works particularly well with rounded, ceramic and more sculptural lamp bases. On a table lamp, the shape creates a strong but balanced silhouette, making it a great choice for bedside tables, side tables and console lamps.
