XL Drum Suspension and Hanging Heights
Every XL Drum Lampshade includes a three-light satin chrome suspension. In addition, three catenary support wires help support and balance the shade across all six sizes, from 60cm to 120cm.
All sizes have a minimum drop of 50cm, measured from the ceiling to the underside of the lampshade. Before ordering, check this measurement against your ceiling height and the space below.
If you need a longer drop, contact our team to discuss your requirements and confirm the maximum drop available for your chosen size.

Removable XL Drum Diffuser
Each XL Drum Lampshade includes a removable white diffuser, which sits neatly across the underside of the shade.
As well as concealing the three lamp holders, the diffuser helps to soften and spread the light. This gives the pendant a clean, finished appearance when viewed from below.
For easy access to the lamp holders, simply remove the diffuser when needed.

Choose the Right Size
Our XL Drum Lampshades come in six diameters, from 60cm to 120cm. Before choosing a size, consider your room’s proportions, ceiling height and where the pendant will hang.
For example, smaller sizes can create a focal point without overwhelming the room, while larger shades suit more spacious interiors. Also, allow for the minimum drop of 50cm on every size, measured from the ceiling to the underside of the shade.

You can choose from our collection of fabrics, including brushed cotton, plain cotton, velvet, faux silk and other available finishes. Alternatively, you can supply your own suitable fabric for us to use.
How will my XL Drum Lampshade be delivered?
Due to their size, our Extra Large Drum Lampshades require careful packaging for delivery. Our 80cm, 90cm, 100cm and 120cm shades are delivered by pallet to help protect them during transit and may be subject to an additional delivery charge. We will contact you if any additional delivery costs apply to your order.

Can I order an XL Drum without a diffuser?

Our standard XL Drum Lampshades include a removable white diffuser and a three-light suspension. The diffuser conceals the bulbs and softens the light. However, if you would prefer a different lighting arrangement or finish, contact us before ordering to discuss a bespoke specification.
What bulbs does the XL Drum require?
Each XL Drum is supplied with a three-light suspension designed for E27 (Edison Screw) bulbs. The maximum wattage is 60W per lamp holder. We recommend using suitable LED bulbs for an energy-efficient lighting option. For dimming, use dimmable bulbs with a compatible dimmer switch.
