Yes. We can make a lampshade using your own fabric, provided the material is suitable for lampshade making. Simply contact us with the details and we can advise on suitability and the amount of fabric required.
Can I order fabric samples before choosing?

Do I need to remove the old fabric before sending my lampshade?
No. Please leave your lampshade as it is. This allows our team to assess its original construction before carefully removing the existing covering.
Which lampshade fabric allows the most light through?
Lighter coloured and more finely woven fabrics will generally allow more light to pass through the lampshade. Cotton, brushed cotton and lighter faux silks are good choices if you would like more light to filter through the shade. Velvet is a thicker, denser fabric, so it allows less light through and creates a richer, more atmospheric effect. Your choice of lining will also influence how much light is emitted through the shade.
Which lining should I choose for my fabric lampshade?
The right lining depends on the appearance and lighting effect you would like to create. A classic white lining provides a clean finish, while metallic linings can create a warmer and more decorative glow.
