Every Empire Lampshade is individually handmade in our Devon workshop.
Choose from an extensive range of brushed cotton, faux silk, velvet and hessian fabrics. You can also personalise your lampshade with your preferred lining to achieve the lighting effect that’s right for your home.

Available Sizes
Our Empire Lampshades are available in a wide range of sizes to suit almost any lamp.
Smaller sizes work beautifully on bedside lamps and table lamps. Mid-sized options complement standard lamps, while larger sizes create elegant proportions on floor lamps. Alternatively, choose the pendant fitting to create a timeless ceiling light.
If you require a custom size, we also manufacture bespoke lampshades to your exact dimensions.
Lining Options
Choose from several lining options to create your preferred lighting effect.
White PVC Lining provides excellent light output and has been tested to Glow Wire lighting safety standards.
Natural Cotton Lining softens the light and creates a warm, natural appearance.
Metallic Linings, including gold, silver, champagne and copper, create a luxurious finish while directing light upwards and downwards. Because metallic linings are opaque, they produce a more focused and atmospheric glow.

Every Empire Lampshade includes a dual-purpose fitting suitable for both B22 (Bayonet Cap) and E27 (Edison Screw) lamp holders.
The removable reducer ring allows the lampshade to fit the most common UK and European lamp holders, making installation simple and straightforward.
