Each lampshade is meticulously handcrafted in our Devon workshop. We carefully wrap rich cotton ribbons around a classic empire frame to create a sharp knife-pleat effect. The pleated pattern flows seamlessly from the exterior to the interior, providing a neat and cohesive finish from every angle. Consequently, every handmade striped empire lampshade reflects close attention to detail and lasting quality.
The timeless empire silhouette combines traditional charm with precise craftsmanship. In addition, the neutral khaki and cream stripe design pairs easily with brass, black, wood, or painted lamp bases.
All of our khaki and cream pleated lampshades include a dual-purpose fitting compatible with UK and EU lamp holders (E27 and B22). Sizes from 20cm to 35cm feature a fixed fitting, while shades 40cm and larger are supplied with a shade carrier, as shown in the images.
